OWU Men's and Women's Soccer

Ohio Wesleyan's men and women soccer team have been providing the DSSC/DYAA club with some amazing camps and clinics, including full club camps, keeper training clinic and assisting some of our coaches throughout the fall and spring season. We are fortunate to have these men and women players help train, mentor and provide insight to the game at a higher level of play.

OWU Kid's Soccer clinic

Saturday October 6th 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Free youth soccer clinic for boys and girls ages 8 to14 participating in Delaware Youth Athletic Association (DYAA) and DSSC Soccer. The clinic, with training and tips from OWU coaches and players, will be held at Roy Rike Field, 249 Park Ave., Delaware. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m., and youths must bring a completed registration form and medical release, available from their DYAA coaches. Participants also need to bring their own cleats, soccer ball, shin guards, and water.

This past week the Girls High School age DSSC club teams were lucky to have an open sit and talk about college recruitment and self improvement with some of the OWU women's team and OWU coach Bob Barnes. The girls ended the evening with a fun scrimmage.

OWU Men's Soccer Camps

Dr. Jay Martin's Super Soccer Camp strives to provide campers with the best opportunities and environment to develop as a player, just as he does with his own teams at Ohio Wesleyan. Winners of the 2011 NCAA Division III National Champions, players attending camp will be able to work with the Ohio Wesleyan coaching staff and current and former players.
